23 January Arrival Day Monday and check into hotel
24 January Day 1 Quito Tuesday
After an early breakfast in your hotel we will to the Monastery of OLGS for novena prayers and personal time in front of the image. We then visit the historical plazas of Quito: Benalcazar and Plaza Grande. After our Noon Mass in a Private chapel we will have our welcome lunch together. The afternoon will be free.
25 January Day 2 Quito Wednesday
We will have breakfast in your hotel. After breakfast we walk to the Monastery of OLGS for prayer time inside the Monastery. We will visit the incorrupt bodies of the founding Mothers, the upper choir loft where the apparitions occurred, and a question and answer session with the Abadessa. Before lunch, we will visit the Monastery of La Merced. After lunch we will visit the Presidential Palace. We end the day with a late afternoon Mass in front of the image of OLGS in the main church.
26 January Day 3 Quito and Guapulo Thursday
After breakfast and free time at OLGS for prayers, we depart on bus of the the Village of Guapulo. We will visit the Franciscan Monastery there and see where the Spanish Conquistador Francisco Orellana departed on his discovery of the Amazon basin. After the group lunch, we visit the Monastery of Buen Pastor and the church of San Hermano Miguel. We end the day with a late afternoon Mass at a school with a private collection of Garcia Moreno.
27 January Day 4 Friday
After our morning breakfast in the hotel and prayer time in front of the miraculous image, we depart for our walking tour to Plaza Grande for “in the footsteps of Garcia Moreno” where we will learn of the life of this great Catholic President of Ecuador and retrace his last day on earth. The tour will be given by the Ecuadorian historian and author Dr. Francisco Salazar. We will visit the Plaza Grande (assassination site), the Cathedral (where he expired), the Monastery of Santa Catalina (where his body was secretly hidden for 100 years) and Monastery Santo Domingo (where he heard his last Mass) where will have our afternoon Mass.
28 January Day 5 Saturday
After a early morning Mass at 7:30 in a private chapel, we offer a complete free day for personal excursions such as shopping or relaxing. We will meet up again in the evening for a group dinner
29 January Day 6 Sunday
After breakfast we depart for the Monastery of OLGS for prayer time. We then depart on bus to a 17th Century Spanish Colonial Hacienda in the beautiful countryside outside of Quito. We will have our Mass there followed by a beautiful lunch among the historic gardens of the main house. We will return to Quito is late afternoon
30 January Day 7 Monday
After breakfast and prayer time in front of the miraculous image, we set out for a tour at the Monastery of San Francisco followed by Mass in the church of Monastery Carmen Alto (Carmelites). We will have our lunch there and a brief tour of the miraculous site for Saint Mother Mariana de Jesus Flores which was her former home. We then visit the oldest street in Quito…..”La Ronda” with its many cafes, restaurants and shops. We will also visit the orphanage of the Sisters of “La Niñez”.
31 January Day 8 Tuesday
After breakfast and free time at OLGS for prayers, we depart on bus for the Basilica where we will have our Mass in the chapel of the preserved hearts of Garcia Moreno and Archbishop Checa y Barba. After our tour of the Basilica and free time for lunch, we will travel to the Monastery of San Diego for its famous cemetery and Cloisters. We will then visit the Panacillo mountain and home of the famous Apocolyptic Virgin. We will have our group dinner at night.
1 February Day 9 Wednesday
After breakfast we depart on a walking tour of “in the footsteps of La Dolorosa”. We will first visit the Church of El Sagrario and then the 17th Century Jesuit complex of La Compania listed in the guide books as the most impressive in Latin America. We will visit the actual chapel of the miracle for a Rosary and time for reflection. After free time for lunch, we depart by our private bus to north Quito for Mass in front of the original miraculous image of La Dolorosa at the St. Gabriel boys school at 3:30. We end our day with the group dinner
2 February Day 10 Thursday
Early rise at 4:30 for the rosary at dawn procession for Our Lady in the streets of Spanish Colonial Quito. We will then have a 7:00 a.m. Mass over the tomb of the incorrupt body of Mother Mariana inside the Monastery of OLGS. We then return to our hotels for breakfast and free time (the main church with the Miraculous image is open all morning). Our group dinner is in the evening.
3 February Day 11 Friday
Early Mass in Private chapel before breakfast. After breakfast in your hotel, we take a bus to the Teriferico cable car to the top of Volcano Pichincha. Then, we visit the Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the world Monument). After our midday group lunch, we return to Quito for the ceremony to bring the miraculous image up to the upper choir loft at OLGS main church.
