Pilgrimage Itenerary

Day 1  Depart from your airport of origin / Bogotá

Board your overnight transatlantic flights from your home town.  Meals are served on board.  Upon arrival in Bogotá, you'll be greeted by a tour guide and/or driver who will then check you into your hotel. Guide will be with your throughout your stay.

Day 2 Bogotá

After our  morning Mass and breakfast, we will start our tour with a visit to the important churches in Bogotá such as la iglesia de San Francisco, San Ignacio, Virgen del Rosario y visit the museum at the  Iglesia de Santa Clara  where there are exposed  117 paintings from the European school of art.  We will then visit the  Catedral del Sal.  Night at Bogota hotel.

Day 3 Bogotá / Cali

After our morning Mass, we follow with breakfast in the hotel, we transfer to the Bogotá airport for our morning flight to Cali. Upon arrival into Cali, we check into our hotels and free time until after lunch. After lunch we will take our city tour which will include iglesia de San Francisco  which was constructed in the 18th Century,  la iglesia de La Ermita with its Gothic style, the monument  al Gato del Río,  and the historical neighborhood of San Antonio and its Chapel…..a very traditional place of the city conserved with the ambiance of this citys former Colonial times.  We will have our group dinner at night and hotel in Cali.

Day 4 Cali / Buga

After our morning Mass and breakfast, we depart by our private transport to the village of Buga about one hour from Cali. We will view the historic center and the Basilica of Señor de los Milagros and the image of “Señor Caido”. We will also visit the Museum of the miracles. We will return to Cali after our lunch in the late afternoon. Hotel in Cali.

 Day 5   Cali / Cartagena

We will depart after our morning breakfast and check out of hotels to the airport for our flight to Cartagena. After our check into the hotel and lunc, we will have a walking tour of the old Colonial center including the Palacio de la Inquisicion y Casa de la Aduana. After lunch, we will visit the Convent and church of San Pedro Claver.  We will have a late afternoon Mass. Hotel in Cartagena.

Day 6 Cartagena

After early Mass and breakfast, we will visit we will visit the Convent and church of San Pedro Claver. After lunch we will visit the Capilla de Nuestra Señora de La Merced and the San Agustin church. We end our day with a group dinner overlooking the Caribbean sea. Hotel in Cartagena.

Day 7 Cartagena / Bogotá

After breakfast, we will have our early morning flight back to Bogotá. After checking into our hotel we will have Mass just before lunch. After lunch we will visit the afternoon in the pre Colombian area of Zipaquirá. We will return to our hotels and depart for our group lunch.  Hotel in Bogotá.

Day 8 Bogotá

We will depart for an early morning Mass and then return to our hotel for breakfast. We then will spend the day at Santuario de Monserrate. We will ascend the mountain on the cable car and enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the top. We will visit the Catholic Sanctuary and the image of Señor caído de Monserrate. After lunch on the mountain, we will visit the Visita al Santuario del Divino Niño. We will then return to our hotels and farewell dinner. Hotel in Bogotá.

Day 9  Bogotá / Departures

Check out of hotels and transfers to airport.
