Pilgrimage Itinerary

Day 1  Depart from your airport of origin/Lima

Board your flights from your home town and connections into Lima.  Meals are served on board.  Upon arrival in Lima, you'll be greeted by a tour guide and/or driver who will then check you into your hotel Maury. Guide will be with your throughout your stay.

Day 2 Tour of Lima

After our early morning Mass and breakfast, we will  visit the highlights of Lima: the Plaza de Armas, Cathedral and Santo Domingo (St. Martin de Porres).

Day 3 Tour of Lima

After our early morning Mass and breakfast, we will tour the famous Monastery of San Francisco with its catacombs. We will then visit the Jesuit Church of San Pedro and the Palacio de Gobierno (Pizzaro´s house). We will check out of our hotels and in the afternoon we board our bus to visit the Pre Inca ruins of Huaca Pucllana with its famous Pyramids and remains of the human sacrifice altars which were partially destroyed by Spanish Conquistadors. We then have a brief stop at the Indigenous market at in Miraflores. We will end our day with a sunset dinner overlooking the ocean of Miraflores at Lacomar.  We will then board our bus to the airport for our late night flight to Buenos Aires.

Day 4 Tour Buenos Aires

Due to our early morning arrival into Buenos Aires, we will start our day with  group lunch. We then will tour the afternoon in Buenos Aires visiting the Basilica,  the famous Cemetary of Recoleta, and the Sacturary of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Day 5 Buenos Aires and Cordova

After our early morning Mass and breakfast at hotel, we check out of our hotel and depart on our bus for Cordova. Upon arrival in Cordova we will have free time for lunch and then tour the Jesuit church in Cordova as well as the Capachino Sacred Heart church. We will then dine at our favorite Argentinian beef house for a group dinner.

Day 6 Cordova and environs (Estancias)

After our morning Mass and breakfast in the hotel, we begin our bus tour of the famous Jesuit Estancias of Argentina. We will visit Alta Gracia and Caroya. You can visit more information at www.manresa-sj.org/stamps/2_Argentina.htm

Day 7 Cordova and Buenos Aires

After our early morning Mass and breakfast, we depart on our bus back to Buenos Aires. After we check into our hotel, we have some free time for lunch and then a brief city tour including the Santuary of San Cayetano.

Day 8

We deapart on our bus again to the beautiful Argentinean countryside for the St. Pius the X ordinations at Reja. We will have our lunch and Mass out at the Seminary and then return to Buenos Aires in the early afternoon for free time.

Day 9 Lima/Departures

After our morning Mass and breakfast in Buenos Aires, we spend a colorful Sunday in Bueons Aires with the Argentinians. We will vist the famous Plazas and including the Museum Bellas Artes and the famous Opera house Teatro Colon. We will then check out of the hotel for our early evening fight to Lima. Upon a late night arrival into Lima, we will check into our hotels.

Day 10 Lima

After breakfast we will finish exploring Lima with the house and church of St. Rosa Lima,  Church of Las Nazarenes and finish with La Merced. We will have our group meal at dinner

Day 11 Lima

Depart for our early flight out from Lima airport
