Itinerary Novena of Our Lady of Good Success

Day 1

Quito 26 January (12 day and 9 day itinerary arrivals)

Board your inbound flight into Quito, Ecuador. Arrivals into airport and transport to Hotel. Light activities for early day arrivals including miday Mass-
Day 2

Quito 27 January

We start each day after your breakfast with your in the hotel with your guide for private prayer time and rosary/novena prayers with the group in front of the Miraculous image of Our Lady of Good Success at the main church of the Conceptionist Monastery. You will then start your walking tour of Plaza Grande, the Archbishops Palace and Plaza Benalcazar (oldest in Ecuador) followed by a  welcome lunch with the group at noon. We then will return to your hotels for a short siesta (rest) before we return to the main Church at the Conceptionist Monastery for a private Mass at 4:00 in front of the miraculous image.
Day 3

Quito 28 January

Depart your hotel after breakfast from your hotel with our guide for private prayer time and rosary/novena prayers with the group in front of the Miraculous image of Our Lady of Good Success at the main church of the Conceptionist Monastery. You will then start your walking tour of Monastery San Francisco (largest in Latin America) and the famous chapel of La Catuña. We will then have a private Mass at Monastery San Jose (Carmen Alto) followed by lunch with the Carmelite Nuns. After lunch we will tour the Monastery.
Day 4

Quito 29 January (6 day itinerary arrivals)

Depart your hotel after breakfast from your hotel with our guide for private prayer time and rosary/novena prayers with the group in front of the Miraculous image of Our Lady of Good Success at the main church of the Conceptionist Monastery. You will then start your tour by bus to the Basilica and the Chapel of the Sacred Hearts with the preserved hearts of Garica Moreno and Archbishop Checa y Barba. Then we travel to  Monastery San Diego for our Mass followed by lunch in the refrectory. Then the famous cemetery and ride to the top of mountain Panacillo for the Apocalyptic Virgin.
Day 5

Quito 30 January

Depart your hotel after breakfast from your hotel with our guide for private prayer time and rosary/novena prayers with the group in front of the Miraculous image of Our Lady of Good Success at the main church of the Conceptionist Monastery. You will then start your  tour of The footsteps of Garcia Moreno by Dr. Francisco Salazar former Ecuadorian Ambassador to the Vatican and author of the latest book entitled “Encounter with History, Gabriel Garcia Moreno, Catholic Leader of Latin America”, with visits to the Plaza Grande (oringal assassination site), Cathedral (where he expired and site of original burial tomb), Monastery Santa Catalina (hidden tomb site) Mass, lunch, and Monastery Santo Domingo (the last Mass he heard on his death).
Day 6

Quito 31 January

Depart your hotel after breakfast from your hotel with our guide for private prayer time and rosary/novena prayers with the group in front of the Miraculous image of Our Lady of Good Success at the main church of the Conceptionist Monastery. We then will tour the Monastery of OLGS visiting the upper choir loft, tomb of Mother Mariana and question and answer session with Mother Abadesa. We will then visit Monastery of La Merced followed by Mass and lunch. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 7

Quito 1 February

Depart your hotel after breakfast from your hotel with our guide for private prayer time and rosary/novena prayers with the group in front of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Good Success at the main church of the Conceptionist Monastery. We will then start our tour of “In the footsteps of La Dolorosa”. We will visit the La Compania Church (claimed to be the most impressive in Latin America) and the chapel where the miracle occurred for Mass. Then, we will visit La Sagraio chuch followed by lunch. We will then board our bus for north Quito where we will make a quick stop at the Catholic bookstore Libreria Espiritual and then travel to the Jesuit boys school St. Gabriel to visit the actuall miraculous image.
Day 8

Quito and countryside 2 February

This is the feast day of Our Lady of Good Success which starts the day with a 5 a.m. Rosary Procession at the Monastery. This is followed by a private Mass inside the Monastery over the tomb of Venerable Mother Mariana and other founding Mothers. We will then have breakfast and a free morning until noon.
 

9 and 6 Day Pilgrims only
At Noon will leave by bus for a tour of the Mitad del Mundo monument and return by late afternoon for a farewell dinner. Departures for the airport on the 9th day.

 

12th Day Pilgrims only
At noon will depart hotels (check out) for North Ecuador and Colombia. Our first stop will be the village of Guapulo and the Franciscan Monastery there know for Nuestro Señora del los Nubes. We will have lunch en route and visit the village of Quinche for Ecuador’s larges Marian shrine Nuestro Señora del Quinche. We will arrive at Hacienda Chorlavi in San Antonio de Ibarra for your hotel stay.

 

9th day  Las Lajas, Colombia and Ecuador countryside 3rd February
Early Mass at Hacienda Chapel followed by breakfast. We will depart early for Las Lajas, Colombia and the miraculous shrine of Nuestra Señora del Rosario. We will have lunch en route to Nuestra Señora de la Paz in La Paz, Ecuador. We arrive back at Hacienda by late afternoon.

 

9 and 6 Day Pilgrims only
Departures for airport in Quito and end of Pilgrimage

 

10th day Countryside of north Ecuador 4 February
Early Mass at Hacienda Chapel followed by breakfast. We will then visit the wood carving artisan village of San Antonio for Traditional Catholic statuary markets. We will then visit the village of Otovalo for Latin Americas largest indigenous handy crafts market. Lunch will be served en route back to our return to Quito. Check back into hotel in Quito

 

11th Day Quito and countryside 5th February
Breakfast in hotel and depart by bus for tour of the Mitad del Mundo monument. arrive back in Quito for early afternoon. Free time in the afternoon in Quito followed by a private Mass in the late afternoon and farewell dinner.

 

12th Day  Quito 6th February
